Matt graduated from Iowa State University in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Drake Law School in 1993. He has been working in public accounting for over 25 years in all areas of taxation and financial planning. Matt left the firm of KPMG to launch Hamilton Juffer + Associates in 2006. He has worked with corporate executives, high-net worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. His experience in all of these areas allows him to be a valued advisor to his clients.

Professionally, Matt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Iowa Bar. He is currently serving on the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation Professionals Advisory Committee, the United Way of Central Iowa’s Advisory Counsel, and the board of Urban Dreams.
